Wood is our passion and at the same time the basis of our production. That was the case back then and should continue to be so in the future. That is why we as a company stand for the careful use of wood as a resource. In our opinion, in order to preserve a sustainable material, natural management must be ensured to preserve the areas.
We at akustikplus therefore rely on the processing of wood from certified forests.
In order to offer our customers the transparency for sustainable processing, we have our product chain regularly through CoC certifications according to the standards:
- FSC® (license number: FSC-C119792)
- PEFC™ (license number: PEFC/04-31-2240).
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international non-profit organization that pursues a system for the certification of sustainable forestry. The aim of the organization is to ensure sustainable forest use. The organization has developed a cross-border, uniform standard that has established itself internationally as a binding sustainability seal.
We also monitor compliance with the guidelines through so called backward integration. In short: We have the opportunity to procure wood through our own purchasing and forestry companies and thus trace the origin back to the standing tree.
