A jewel box in the middle of the Alps.

Over the last 30 years, the small village of Ischgl has developed into a large collection of hotels. In the high season, the 1,600 inhabitants are faced with over 2,000 guest workers and 12,000 tourists!
Despite this, the village retains a cosy and informal feel - possibly in response to the mass influx. Club and association life is very strong here. People come together and as a result, places that are not used by tourism are becoming increasingly important.

In 2012, the municipality made the decision to create such a place in the last remaining green space in the village centre. The municipality wanted a building that would define the identity of the village and at the same time correspond to modern Ischgl.

The small concert and rehearsal room is the centrepiece of the building and is cleverly embedded in the slope. The walls are angled relative to each other to enhance the acoustic quality of the room. Over 500 triangular acoustic panels in European oak ensure optimum sound quality.
The cultural centre combines the rustic with the modern Ischgl.
