Police and Justice Center Zurich
Project description
The Police and Justice Center Zurich (PJZ) is a state-of-the-art, multifunctional building that serves as a central location for police and justice authorities. Located in the Zurich district of Aussersihl, it offers a comprehensive infrastructure that unites all essential services under one roof.
Architecture and utility
The PJZ stands out with its clear and functional architecture, designed by the renowned architectural firm theo hotz partner | architekten. The building is divided into various usage units, enabling efficient collaboration between different authorities. Open and light-filled spaces create a pleasant working atmosphere and promote communication.
Significant challenges in planning and implementing the PJZ included high security requirements and the need to integrate various functional needs. The result is a highly complex structure that meets both aesthetic and practical demands.
Our acoustic elements in the PJZ
Our micro-perforated acoustic panels with elegant oak veneer play a crucial role in optimizing the room acoustics in the PJZ. These acoustic elements were strategically installed in various areas of the building to ensure excellent speech intelligibility and a pleasant acoustic environment.
The micro-perforated structure of our panels effectively absorbs sound, leading to a reduction in reverberation times and minimizing disruptive noises. This is especially important in meeting rooms, offices, and public waiting areas. Our proline acoustic panels not only meet normative acoustic requirements but also add a warm and inviting aesthetic to the rooms with their high-quality oak surface.
The Police and Justice Center Zurich is an outstanding example of modern architecture with well-thought-out acoustic solutions. Functionality and aesthetics go hand in hand here.
We are proud to be part of this significant project and look forward to supporting demanding construction projects in the future with our innovative acoustic solutions.
We look forward to your project!
