When using oak veneer, the "plain" and "quarter-sawn" design is often desired.
The aim is to achieve as homogeneous a look as possible across the entire surface.
Real wood veneer is sliced from oak logs. Approximately 600m² of veneer can be produced per log. If the area in the object is larger, veneers from different logs must be processed. Wood is a natural product and no two logs are the same. There are also colour differences within a log. This is not noticeable in a panel. However, it is clearly visible in the overall view.
We also often receive requests for pictures or the use of identical logs per wall or room. With large objects, however, there is always a risk that individual panels will be damaged during transport or installation on site. This is even more noticeable when the panels are subsequently replaced, as individual panels can no longer be reproduced identically.
