Since the turn of the millennium, the importance of room acoustics in the construction industry has grown steadily. The demand for high-quality acoustic products is constantly growing all over the world. With the founding of akustikplus, a company has emerged that addresses precisely this need.

Relocation to the foothills of the Alps
In summer 2023, the entire akustikplus production will be relocated to Stephanskirchen to our parent company, HAMBERGER Industriewerke. A milestone in our company history. In total, more than 2,000 tonnes of material and machinery were moved over a distance of more than 25,000 km.

With the acquisition by HAMBERGER Industriewerke GmbH, akustikplus is experiencing a forward-looking development.
Together with the international group from Stephanskirchen, the company is optimally positioned strategically to meet the increasing demand for acoustic solutions.
New brand identity + ERP system
With a completely new image and a new brand strategy, akustikplus positions itself as the innovative and customised solution provider for all aspects of room acoustics. An industry-specific merchandise management system is introduced in the same year.
Plant in Behringen
A new high-tech plant for the manufacture of acoustically effective products is built in Thuringia. With 8 specially developed CNC drilling centres and a large number of ultra-modern machines, akustikplus is one of the world's most innovative and efficient acoustic producers in the field of wood-based materials.
Production expansion in Wächtersbach
Production at the former site in Wächtersbach is expanded by 5,000 m2. In addition, one of the world's largest drilling centres at the time is purchased: 720 drills can be controlled synchronously or individually. A benchmark for the acoustics industry!
